I used to play, but I quit I couldn't pay the fees. It was reallt fun though, I was on Seraph for a bit.

Probably Siren so I can be with a friend of mine. :rolleyes: of course my boyfriend is gonna throw a fit but w/e. I think I may play as a female elf black mage. Not sure yet...

About the same, if not worse, than the other FF titles. Some of the fans, myself included, refused to pay the extortionate fee's. More fool to the people who do do this, no offense of course :P
 
Well...they did add some new classes to the game. A blue mage and some priate looking class.
 
I never played any of the previous FF series and so didn't know what to expect until I started playing this game a few days ago. As it is, the UI is killing the game for me. I've been trying to get used to it but it's very frustrating to say the least. I know this was a console game that's been ported to the pc but still...and it's been out how long now? :cry2:

The best UI I've seen of any of the MMORPGs I've played so far is by far the UI of CoX or City of Heroes/Villains. Almost every part of it is customizable. A UI like that would do wonders for FFXI!

I appologize if this sounds like a rant but this has been driving me nuts! :wacko:
 
This game...is FUN!!! I have recently played a friends and its so fun. I have a linkshell and all these friends and they help me and I help them, and one was nice enough to venture off with me to other lands it was fun. I really like this game.......I just don't like the pay every month thing.
 
I must ask a few questions regarding the PS2 version.

-How long has it been released for on the PS2?
-You can play online through playstations, MUST you play online with FFXI on the PS2?
 
FFXI is awesome i only layed for a few hours, while i was at a friends house, it is so addicting, its so fun!, but i dont have the money to pay, (cuz im only a teen). but yea its addicting, when i went home, i couldnt stop thinking about, it for like a week!
 
Having had enough, I've cancelled my Content ID and uninstalled the game. Wish I could return the game. :/
