i was 12 or 13 when i got into final fantasy, the reason i love the games so mush is not just becasue they are great games but because they were an escape for me.
when i say escape i mean when i was younger my mum and dad would argue alot and he quickly changed into a twat and alcholic over night. being the only boy in the house (i live with my mum and sister now) i had to take care of them and because of looking to cloud as a sort of role model at the time i was always able to protect them i was always strong enough to stop my dad ever being violent against them. and in those times where i couldent face the day to day events i would play final fantasy and for that period of time i would be happy!!
eventually my dad left and i have not seen him for 3 or 4 years
