Why do we live?

I believe that the only reason for our existence is to make the Earth better...I guess we lost that battle.

"The Earth is just a test for human beings...and we are failing."
 
We live because of an amazing numer of coincidences, the chances of you living right now, as you, are remote. However chances of sombody living are outstandingly large. Life sucks but you have hit the evolutionary jackpot. Enjoy.
 
The point of living, eh?

I don't have anything unique to contribute. Simply saying it's to live a happy, meaningful life seems reasonable.

I'm not in the mood to try to sound all-knowing and wise. =\
