Well....seeing as I haven't reached Aeris' death yet I would have to go with..........Tellah because IV is the only FF game I have played aside from VII,X and XII....So yah....:|

I haven't actually played the game with Aeris/Aerith in it, but I have seen clips and videos. Her death sticks out in my mind.

Of the ones I have played, Tidus' death was really memorable. I love the ending of FFX. For those who haven't seen it, I won't ruin it. :P

Well it was voted the most memorable and the most shocking video game moment of all time ;) did you expect any less? *is in a sarcastic mood today*

Most shocking? I didn't cry. Maybe it's because I am not an avid Aeris fan.

mine has to be aries death. it was so sad cloud and her were just getting to know each other, a romance blooming, and then sepiroth killed her. when that sword went though i jumped up and screamed you bastard at the tv haha. i really got involved in that game.

I'll go with Aerith's death.
Her being my favorite character and all. It's such a surprise. I never expected her to die. I'm a one dumb fan of her. I can never forget her death, 'coz her death was the reason I didn't finish playing FF7. :P

I thought Tidus didn't die. He just disappeared, right, 'coz he's just a dream?

I went with Galuf. His death sticks out the most in my mind because he was saving his granddaughter, even though he knew it meant shattering the crystal. During the battle against Exdeath he was made invincible by his love for Krile and the others. He knew he was going to die but he carried on regardless. Even after his death he still helped the party. He gave his abilities to Krile, helped Kelger to destroy the illusion in Exdeath's castle, and together with Dorgann, Kelger, Xezat and King Tycoon helped the party return to the rift when Exdeath threw them into the void right before the final battle. That's why his death is the most memorable for me.

Yeah, Tidus did not die, but in this case, we consider it his "death". ;)

Mine was definitely
Aerith.
It took me by surprise, since she played an important role in FF7 and she was a very efficient healer.
When she died, well, it was sad. It happened so quickly, she was so close to everyone and all.

Josef, Minwu in FF2
Maybe because they sacrefide themselves.
either Aeris was so sad.

Kuja all the way...sorry I'm such a sucker for the guy ^^

He fights against death...his own death. He refuses to live with the fact that his lifespan is not unlimited and if he dies then everyone needs to die. His character is one that is so amazing and his reason for doing what he does. Kuja intrigued me.

The fragment between Zidane and Kuja in Lifa Tree...

Zidane: Hey! Are you alright?

Kuja: Zidane...? What are you doing here? In thought I told you to go...

Zidane: Wouldn't you do the same for me if you knew I was dying?

Kuja: ......

Zidane: ......Never mind.

Kuja: Your comrades were able to escape?

Zidane: Yea... I knew you had something to do with it.

Kuja: ...I'm glad they made it.

Zidane: Yeah, well...it's our turn to get movin'.

Kuja: ...... ...I don't deserve to live after all that I've done. I'm useless
to this world.

Zidane: No one's useless... You helped us escape, remember?

Kuja: ...... After you guys beat me, I had nothing left...nothing more to
lose. Then, I finally realized what it means to live... I guess I was too
late.

Zidane: !!!? Hey! Don't you go dying on me, alright!? !!!?

We watch a movie of the branches trapping Zidane and Kuja. Meanwhile,
we listen to Mikoto.

Voice of Mikoto: Kuja... What you did was wrong... But you gave us one
thing... Hope... We were all created for the wrong reason, but you alone
defied our fate. We do not want to forget this. We want your memory to
live on forever... ...to remind us that we were not created for the wrong
reason-that our life has meaning.

You see how Kuja realizes with his defeat what it really means to be alive, even though it was to late. And with this knowledge he made sure Zidane and his friends could escape. That was just memorable for me...
