Have to say Shiva !! Dont know why just has been since the days of FF7 .... I do mis Ramuh and knights of the round though lol .... and poor choco, never got featured as a summon again after FF7
 
hmm...Anima, Bahamut, Yojimbo *Zanmato* or the magus sisters...i like their overdrive...

Ifrit got my choice here. I know he's received early in the game, but as soon as I first performed "Hellfire" I fell in love with Ifrit. The sequence just never seemed to end while it was taking place, and I loved every second of it.

Bahamut gets my second vote mainly for his overall "look" and I love how he just stands there with his arms crossed whenever anyone hits him.
 
I agree with you that FFX had an amazing Ifrit.
He did remind me of Ifrit from FFVIII. They both have great designs. ^_^
 
It's a tie for me between Bahamut, Shiva, and Anima. They were all really powerful and all looked incredible. Anima might have it by a slight edge though since she looked the most unique and had one of the most badassed Overdrive/Limits to date.

And Anima's a woman o.o
 
Ive changed my mind. I dont want Shiva to be my favourite any more :( Yojimbo rocks, i just summon him and he either attacks without me telling him too ... or he just Zanmato's their asses to the farplane at the cost of 3000 (yes three thousand) gil .... I think he loves me long time :D
 
Anima FTW, Ifrit, Shiva etc are old classics so I wasn't impressed by them as much as the new Aeons, Anima's moves and limit rulz
