A friend of mine once said Syphon Filter sucks, and I said ''Have you gone insane''? How the hell could you not like the detailed maps, the stealth missions, the story, and the tazer?

If it's just the first two games you're talking about then I didn't like it either. Preferred MGS over Syphon Filter any day, mostly because it was an absolute pain in the arse to play half the time. I think it's just one of those love it/hate games.
I loved all the Syphon Filter games, but I never played Omega Strain yet. But every other one I have (the 2 PS ones, and the PSP one).
But, I'd agree with you, MGS has better everything, when compared to SF.
And the Tazer does, in fact kick ass.

It's not that I hate Syphon Filter; rather, I think Metal Gear Solid is more deserving of my time.
Omega Strain sucks, by the way. The classic PS1 Syphon Filter games are decent.

Ive heard of it, but never played it. Im not into shooting games, although I like the MGS series.

Syphon Filter, in my opinion, is a great game. The taser is stupidy violent, but that's what I love. One of the best parts is how it goes from stealthy don't get seen tactics, to shoot the crap out of his face violence.
