Sadly i can't, i wish i could though ;_; it would be awesome to be able to play piano, theres just something so...dignified to it ^_^

count me in. FF music alone sparked my passion for piano. ^_^ I only learned some basics from a free lesson I found in the net and I'm still a beginner. Right now I'm currently trying Spinach Rag(FF6) It's really hard. :D

I can play grade 2 pieces. Thats actually really good for my age.
It matters more about how long you've been playing for/what degree you've been learning to.

I can kind of play piano. ^.^
Unfortunately, I don't have a keyboard with me, and I haven't played in like half a year.

Is that a keyboard you're playing with during "My Immortal"? With the accompaniment function? xD
By the way, that cockroach video; "THIS IS ALL STEPHANIE'S FAULT" made me lol xD

I've been learning keyboard for about 4 years but only recently I began to self-teach myself the piano and I'm using Final Fantasy music as my guinea pig. Currently, I've mastered Rose of May [Beatrix's theme from FFIX] and I'm on the verge of completing To Zanarkand [main theme from FFX]. I've been floating around Waltz for the Moon, Eyes on Me and Kiss Me Goodbye for a while.

I played Hikari for my music exam last year - but on the keyboard (i.e. no bass clef; replaced it with chords).

Hmm...true. I've only been playing for 2 years and already my skills have surged. At first i taught my self, but i'm getting lessons now. My sight reading and playing accuracy is quite good. All i need to work on is my technique and from there all i need is years of experience to be proffesional.

Anyway...FF piano songs were THE basis for learning. I just found the old classical music that you've heard time and time again, to be boring and repetitious. I can play aeriths theme, melodies of life, yunas theme, aurons theme, tifas theme, eyes on me, rikkus theme, to zanarkand, suteki da ne, the oath, hikari, dearly beloved and ffvii main theme. To Zanarkand is my "signature" song

I'm half way through working on the one winged winged and am planning on learning that o-so-hard "J-E-N-O-V-A" (the piano version) in a years time. And yes i can ACTUALLY play these songs. i am NOT bragging. These are the songs i can play FF wise.

Other songs i can play is things like the godfather, fur elise, pirates of the caribbean theme (he's a pirate), "stars" by les miserables, titanic theme (my heart will go on) and angels by robbie williams.

I play because it relaxes me and lets my emotions calm down. I also play because its a challenge to get better. lawl

I'm assuming that you mean accompaniment is where it tells you which keys to press? I actually learned my immortal via sheet music. ^.^

I haven't touched a piano in years, even though I have one at my house and I used to take lessons when I was little. I haven't even tried to play it to see how rusty I was. I have played Eyes on Me on the piano before for some FF friends, but that was still a while ago

Lol i remember rhea showing me and others some her pieces like months ago :monster:
I used to be able play the piano a bit
Can't even play twinkle twinkle little star now :'(

Nope. It just has a dual-instrument sound on that specific voice. Strings/Piano. ^.^

I made some other recordings of me playing the mini-grand. But I look totally gay. XD

It's called Accompaniment on our keyboards xDDD
It makes the single finger a full chord played by the strings.

Makes it alot easier than grand pianos for sure ^_^
Ya know im gonna try playing silent night soon ^_^

Hmm...i only really do specialise in any instrument thats got keys on it...all i need to learn now is the accordian. I think i'll try learning "eyes on me" i've heard alot og good things about it thanx to you guys
