Which is spicier, wasabi or jalapeno?

I recently heard my mom and dad arguing on the same subject, so....to avoid the catastrophic failure of my genre poll *coughs* I'll just narrow it down to actually two choices, this time.

now if you just add harbenero chilli (i think i spelt it wrong)
wasabi s the hottest out of the 2

My mum put a huge load of the stuff inside this egg roll I was eating, or maybe it was sushi? Hot stuff....

And I always thought jalapeno was hotter....?
Maybe not. I can't tell the difference 'cause my tongue gets all numb.
