Which character do you think would've been the least trouble to animate?

Not really sure on this one, trying to think of the most basic, not too complex party member in Final Fantasy VII...

I'm going to say Vincent (not including his in-battle transformations as part of his animations. <.<), he never had a very deep storyline in my opinion, so they didn't need to bother too much with many various movements outside of battle, and he is, after all, the only optional character, you don't ever even need to have him in as a party member, but who wouldn't want that gunslinger on your side?

They focused more on him in Dirge of Cerberus. Well, I guess...though I never really got into what little "story" there was supposed to be to that game. :/

Anyway, vote and discuss.

Yuffie is entirely optional too right.

And I think Aerith would be easiest since she's only around in the first disc. So not many scenes. Alot in the first part, but after that, nothing.

I would have to agree with Krysta and say Aerith, mostly for the reasons she said. There that much 'face' time and her limit breaks were all magic so she didnt have to do a lot moving.

Aerith was fairly rigid anyway, so yeah I agree with Aerith being easy to animate. She didn't move a lot in her fighting stance if I remember correctly, and since she wasn't in the game for as long as the others...

But even with that aside she wasn't excactly leaping and skipping like Yuffie, or leaping and skipping like a plonker like Cait Sith.

It isn't like they animated one character better than another anyway. I mean, Aerith's biggest problem was that she held her staff inside of her legs during battles, and Cloud stabbed himself in the back during his victory routine.

But maybe I don't understand the question because I have no idea what story depth has to do with it.

It isn't so much a question of what character is the most poorly animated, rather which character you think was the least trouble to animate...I'm not very good with explanations sometimes, I can't help it...

I guess my answer wasn't very good.
