Where to get lots of Pulse Ammo?

My sister's playing a new game of FFVIII and we want to get the Lion Heart, but I can't remember how I got the Pulse Ammo needed. I've looked online but can't really find anything other than mugging a Blitz (which rarely appear and don't even have the Power Generator's needed to refine into a Pulse Ammo) and she doesn't fancy trying to get 20 Elnoyle cards. Is there another way?

Also seeing as I'm asking, what's the easiest way of avoiding Malboro's Bad Breath attack?

Can't you get Pulse ammo from killing Adamantoises? I think that's how you get them...I'm probably wrong though xD

Yeah sorry I just noticed this forum after!

It's ok now, thanks. Found out an easier way! We went to Esthar and kept fighting that Enoyle that keeps coming back. It sometimes drops 2 Energy Crystals which we changed into Pulse Ammo's.

I think you can only get Adamantine's from the Adamantoises.

You can also get the laser canons (?) from mobile type 8 and refine them in to 5 pulse ammo a peice

Blitz might drop a power generator which you can refine to X amount of pulse ammo...can't remember

Ruby Dragons occassionally drop energy crystals aswel, sometimes show up on the Island Closest to Hell and also the deep research thingy

Alternatively you can get them from refining 10 elnoyle cards into energy crystals

Just incase you like, get bored of Elnoyles

Well, I'm playing my FF8 on a no level game, but I can still get Lionheart because I leveled Ifrit to level 10 (i believe that's the level you need for him to learn ammo refine).
I leveled Ifrit when I got to use Edea as a character.. so at the end, it didn't effect any of my characters.

Next, I went to the Esthar City (during disc 4) and talked to the black guy and then he'll give an evil laugh and turn into an Elnoyle.
You can do this over and over (I carded him over and over.. so I have everyone's final weapon in a no level game)
