And whats the taming for. Is that how I get a summon? I'm a bit lost there.

The taming is to coontrol the summomn I guess, if you don't have a high enough taming level, you can't get certain summons.
oh okay I see now. A very helpful has already told me where to get them so I guess I'm good now.

okay u can get a Summon from the monster bank, and u can travel to the monster bank when u finish the Old Monk in Fynn Quest
