HELP!! I got a question that is really bothering me, when you choose your race in ffxiv would that effect your damage percentage for whatever job you choose to pursue. For example being a LALAFELL and main job is MARAUDER? SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! Also was it like that in ffxi?

If they use the same system with FFIV as with FFXI your race will have influence (to a certain degree) on your skills and so on your battle powers.
