Definitely make the game more difficult. As for extending its length, I don't think it's necessary, but I wouldn't object to being able to spend more time with the game.
...I'm still waiting for some Final Fantasy worlds to be implemented. Keep the Disney aspect of the game alive, but place a little more focus on Final Fantasy.

I would LOVE to see some Final Fantasy world's implimented, as well! Maybe Ivalice, and have some FFIX, and FFXII characters in there..? Wouldn't complain about some FFVIII characters that aren't already in the games added, either, like Rinoa. <3

Remove some Disney worlds ... Make it more FF and make 2 or 3 worlds for the FF characters.
I think the game is already hard in the last of it I mean come on we fought Ansem (In this game) countless time.

So lets see, changes I would have implemented:
1. Don't give Sora almost the same exact outfit that Sion Barzhad had in The Bouncer.
2. Kill Sora. Make Rikku the main character.
3. Take out the Tarzan and Little Mermaid worlds.
4. Put in the 101 Dalmatians World, instead of just making you hunt for the puppies.
5. Jungle Book world. Even Kingdom Hearts 2 didn't put it in. WTFH. That's like one of the best Disney movies evar.
6. Make Hollow Bastion more explorable, that place was awesome and had great music.
I'll think of more later. I cba to write out a huge list right now.

I'd sort the chuffing camera angles out so Im not seeing the inside of a boss or behinda wall when Im trying to kill something.

That's never going to work, unfortunately. The Final Fantasy and Disney characters are all cameo characters and, since we've already picked out several of the characters, the only possible worlds to visit, while keeping the story consistent, would be any of the games below V or XII and above. We know that Setzer and Vivi come from Twilight Town, so that cocks up VI and IX. Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Yuffie, Cid and Sephiroth have all come from Hollow Bastion and so VII (and its spin-off's) are out of the window. Squall and Selphie prevent VIII from being a world, while Tidus, Wakka, Yuna, Riku, Paine and Auron all make X and X-2 impossible to put into the game.
The remaininng titles aren't as popular.
In fairness, that was fixed in Kingdom Hearts II.
