F-Zero GX on the Nintendo Gamecube, the easy difficulties are easy but the hard difficulties such as Master (which is the hardest difficulty on Grand Prix mode) is VERY HARD.
I could never place 1st overall on Diamond Cup because of the last stage which is a living hell (no walls, thin roads...) so I can never unlock the AX Cup unless I go to an F-Zero AX arcade machine and bring my memory card but there is none around where I live.
Time Attack is balls hard, I could never beat the ghosts. But Story Mode...oh god (remember this is on VH difficulty(hardest)), Mission 1 is extremely hard, Mission 2 is easy, 3 I never played on VH, 4 is the easiest, 5 demands a FLAWLESS run, you miss a single energy capsule, crash once or slow down even a little, you might as well restart the mission. 6 is easy, 7 is impossible unless you destroy Black Shadow's machine at the very beginning of the race, 8 is as hard as 1 and 9 is hard but not like 1 or 5.
Even to this day I could never fully finish the game.
