Help what now?

i'm stuck right now and was wondering if anyone could help me. i'm on disc 3, just came from black mage villiage and now i gotta find kuja's secret palace on the eastern continent, in quicksand. only problem is, i can't find a beach or anything to dock my boat AT ALL. i think i can see kuja's palace from my boat, but how do i get there? where do i dock my boat?

You can't see Kuja's palace, its inside these swirly quick sand holes. its like on the other side of the same island that the mage village is on.
There is sand to dock on right next to the quicksand pits.

There should be a beach near the quicksand area. It will be on the right side if you were looking at the map.

Just a quick note on this: before you approach one of those four quicksand pits, save the game. it's random which one is the entrance, and the other three will put you in a fight against a very difficult (And really not worth fighting) monster.

And to add: The quicksand pit that is the correct one has no like "puff of sand" or something coming out of it. It is pretty dormant and isn't "active", per say. That's probably confusing, but it has been a while and I forgot what the three pits with the enemy in it do.

Just look for the one that isn't doing what the other three are doing. Lol.

yeah thanks for the help everyone. but i'm stuck again. i got the gulag stone and now i gotta escape from kuja's palace and you gotta get the statue to open the way. i've flipped all the switches i can find, even the candle one, and still nothing. what do i do?

Oh..yeah, that part is annoying. Also, if you want a better chance at the boss if the Desert Palace, you need to collect and "disable" all the Bloodstones (disables his buffs and defenses), as well. Unless you've already beat him, and then just ignore that part.

Your best bet at this would be to use Shotgunnova's GameFaqs guide. Just search down to Desert Palace; it contains a map of the area and every candle location. I'd link you, but I think there's copyright issues involved with linking and using GameFaqs user's stuff.

I know you probably don't want to use a guide, but it'd be easier than me or someone else telling you the exact locations. The map and his locations are MUCH more detailed.
