What level should i be to fight the Elder Wyrm?

Hmm i found doctor cid and judge bergan the hardest 2 in the game
cid caus eof his rooks and high attack power
and bergan cause of his never ending combos which kill me in 2-3 hits o.0

Hes big and scary but all you need is Esuna and Handkerchiefs for when he spews evil status magick! WATCH OUT FOR HIS FIREBALL ATTACK! He will inflict you with oil then do this fireball attack which can do up to 1000 damage....damn!

Elder Wyrm was the hardest I faced so far, I'm now at draklor laboratory being level 44, but I went into that battle unprepared without any handkerchiefs and stuff .

I found Bergan very easy tho =/. Trick with most bosses is to cast status effects on them as blind, silence and slow. That'll help you a whole lot.
