RPG stats are those little bars under your avatar. They become nice and colorful when you start playing the RPG ( after ya hit 50 posts and wait a few hours).
Now, here's a breakdown of what each stat does.
HP (Hit Points) ~ How much damage you can take before dying. More is better.
MP (Mana Points) ~ How many spells you can cast. Also, more is better for the magical type.
STR (Strength) ~ How strong you are. The higher this is, the more physical damage you will do to a opponent. Your STR will have to be higher than your opponents DEF to cause any real damage.
DEF (Defense) ~ How much damage you receive. The higher this stat is, the less damage you will take from physical attacks.
MAG (Magic) ~ How much damage your spells do. The higher this is, the more lilkely your spell will do more damage to your opponent. As with STR, it needs to be higher than your opponents MAG DEF to cause any real damage.
MAG DEF (Magic Defense) ~ How much magical damage you receive. Same effect as DEF, but against Magic attacks.
SPD (Speed) ~ How fast your character is. This stat is paramount to all classes. Having SPD lower than your opponent means they will have their turn before you, having higher speed will grant you the first strike. Also, having twice their speed will give you 2 turns for every one turn they have.
DEX (Dexterity) ~ How accurate your attacks are. High DEX is a must for any physical attacker. Your DEX needs to be higher than your opponents EVA for you to hit them, although, even if it is higher, there is still a chance you will miss.
EVA (Evade) ~ How often you will not be hit. The opposite of DEX, the higher this stat is, the harder it is for your opponent to hit you.
Lastly, in battle, you will notice something called :
ADR (Adrenaline) ~ How often you can perform powerful attacks. Attack types require ADR to use, you gain ADR by successfully hitting your opponent and lose ADR by missing your opponent.
Now, onto the Skills.
Alchemy ~ This skill is used for the fusing of potions. All potions can be fused with a different type of potion, giving you have the required alchemy level to do so.
Welding ~ This skill is used in the crafting of custom weapons. In order to craft a set or blades or piece of armor for yourself, you need the required welding level to do so.
Arcane ~ This skill is used for learning spells. In order to learn new spells, your arcane must be high enough to be able to learn how to use it effectively.
Combat ~ This skill is used for learning powerful attack types. Combat is essential to any physical class, as gaining it allows you to learn attack types, which will make your attack even more powerful.
Taming ~ This skill is used in the training of pets. Although there are no pets available at the present time, when they become available, this skill is needs to tame then correctly, failure to do so will result in them disobeying your commands in battle.
Those are the major stats and skills and their uses. So don't post any threads asking what they are or what they do. If you can't take 1 minute to read this, then you don't deserve to be playing
