To get Wakka's overdrive, do you have the beat the Luca Goers in the first tournament at Luca? Or do you just have to keep winning tournaments until you win it as a prize when you're freely allowed to play blitzball?

I think, but im only 80% sure its any tournament. After you win the initial tournament, you can play a few leagues and you will be able to do another tournament
You win them i tournaments and in the league if i recall corectly. I think they start to become available after uv won a certain amount of matches. So keep playing.

You don't have to win the first tournament. I've lost that everytime I play. Taht's if you're on about the one match it MAKES you play ¬¬
Other than that though, you get his overdrives as rewards for winning leagues/ tournaments and his sigil too
