Poo, Captain Kirk did not always follow the Prime Directive. He was a maverick. In fact, he got demoted, from Admiral back to Captain, for breaking the rules. The only reason he did not get a court martial was because he saved the planet.

It doesn't matter, because Picard is cooler than Kirk. Hell, Picard may be of the same magnitude as Bauer.

Picard is OK. But he did allow himself to be assimilated by the Borg. ;)
 
"Let" himself? Yeah, like after millions of other worlds were wiped out by the Borg, he was somehow supposed to prevent himself from being assimilated. And if you didn't notice, he was able to resist the Borg to some extent by the end of "The Best of Both Worlds".
 
Picard did have some help from Data. ;) Now Data knew how to handle the Borg, when they tried to assimilate him in "First Contact".

A mod lounge is the private forum mods have to themselves which members can't access; typically there is one for site management issues and a "lounge" which exists purely so they can feel special to be chilling out in a forum normal members can't see. Gratification, and all that. Quite overrated.
