Vinuskar in one chain!!!

I just fought Vinuskar(27) in the Silshrine of Miriam. Using Vaan(28), Balthier(28), and Penelo(27). I killed him with one chain of Quickenings, a chain of 10(my best). Has anyone else killed him like that or gotten a chain that big?
 
I killed him in 2 x chains.. my first party did 6 and my second party did 5 i think, something like that. my highest chain is 11

but on average i usually chain up about 8 or so.


Weird thing is ive gotten torrent on 11 and cataclysm on 10 but once i got torrent of 8... so i dont know how it works exactly

Your profile says Elder wrym here i come, watch out for him by the way he is annoying as hell. your best bet is to have 1 healer and 2 attackers.. do not use quickenings right away because u need mp for this fight, use fenix downs and remedies cuz he uses sporefall which is a bitch.. and turn ur healers gambits off. just keep kim/her near the wall away from elder wrym so the sporefall cant hit him/her

I killed him with one chain also. It was the only way I could actually win, such a pain...
Anyway, I think it was one of my highest chains. I managed to get Black Hole later on, but the Vinsukar was a record for me.

Stupid magnetic field... >.>
 
Easiest boss in the entire game so I didnt do any quckenings and just use physical attacks :p

About the finishes:
Inferno : Chain 3 lvl 1 quickenings
Cataclysm: Chain 7 lvl 1 quickenings
Torrent Windburst: Chain 2 lvl 1 quickenings and 3 lvl 2 quickenings
Ark Blast: Chain 2 of each lvl quickenings (lvls 1,2 and 3 obviously)
Luminescence: Chain 3 of each lvl quickenings (lvls 1,2 and 3 obviously)
Whiteout: Chain 5 lvl 3 quickenings
Black Hole: Chain 4 of each lvl quickenings (lvls 1,2 and 3 obviosuly)

Hahaha, one chain also. The magnetic field made me think "oh noes!" so I just battered him with a quickening chain.
 
I think Vinuskar and Judge Bergan were the only story bosses I managed to kill with one chain. The rest generally took 2-4.
 
I Just battered the thing to death. I finished it off with a quickiening chain of 6 though ^_^

Judge Bergan went down in one quickening chain of 12. My Personal best :)
 
Nice...so I guess it is safe to say that Vinuskar is one of the easiest bosses in the game.
