Urgent Help Required!

So it's not urgent but I seriously need help, for the sake of my hard work.

Those fucking little symbols - what are they and how can I send them back to the depth of hell from whence they came?

They've destroyed the layout of my work and refuse to leave. I hit something but apparently hitting everything once (to find said something) doesn't reverse it. There're no options ticked, which brings that fucker on, so I'm stumped.

It seems to represent every time I press the enter key - but some of those little cunts are taking up spaces themselves and are messing it all up.

I know exactly what it is but I can't for the life of me remember how to turn them off. xD
I don't think they'll show when you print them out anyway so you should be fine.

It seems you DO have the button pressed. Check your toolbar again. I see it pressed in. xD

All they are is an indicator of where the enter key was pressed, they won't be there when you print.

Also, Warb is right. The button is pressed in on the toolbar.
