Not remakes but actual franchises or games that you wish to be brought back for the new age (Old-scholl Lucasarts adventure games) or ones that exist that you wish to change back to what they were (2D Sonic and Castlevania). What games would you like to see return?

A 2D Castlevania on a console!!! Yes, that would be very pleasing for me, especially if they go back to the old platformer style rather than the newish Symphony-exploration types. Not that I dislike them by any means, but I miss the truly old ones.

And Street Fighter for the love of the lord, never gonna happen but I still live in the false hope of a new ( and not crap ) Street Fighter game being released.

I would like a return to the more platform based Castlevania games rather than the more Metroid ones although as you've said, they don't work as well somehow. Street Fighter will probably never return sadly and SNK is ruining the Vs. label with their crappy SNK Vs. Capcom games.

Well, it isn't one that I would like to see, but I'm really happy that the Metal Slug games are back now on PSP :D I missed playing those so much
I'd like to see a bit more from Konami though apart from the MGS games. In the 90's they were one of the leading companies, and I'd love to see thwm make a comeback

I want 2D Metroid back
I want 2D Metroid back
I want 2D Metroid back
I want 2D Metroid back
I want 2D Metroid back
Also 2D Sonic(but that goes without saying)

Oh and Megaman but cut the bullshit, I want classic Megaman, which was actually challenging.

Good call for a 2D Metroid, love the Prime games but I would have preferred a 2D game for the DS instead of that Hunters one.

I wouldn't mind if SEGA would get off their arses and give me my Shenmue III and bring back Panzar Dragoon too while they're at it.

Don't know if that's likely to happen at all, since the Rockman creator ( forgot his name ) is one of the many key Capcom employees to have left the company in the last couple of years. Now that I think back on it, there's quite a few Capcom games I'd have loved to see being continued but are unlikely:
Star Gladiator
Strider
Power Stone
Rival Schools/Project Justice
Darkstalkers

On a side note, please SNK, give as a new Garou game, there's only so much entertainment those 12 characters can provide for over a decade....
