Treasures of Aht Urhgan necessary?

Well, i'm getting Final Fantasy XI next week, and was wondering, since i'm kinda saving for Playstation 3, is the Treasures of Aht Urhgan necessary in the beginning? I will probably grind 'till i get Dragoon job, which will probably take over a month (am i right?).

Treasures of Aht Urhgan was created for those level 50 and above for the most part. Pending the system you're getting it for, it may be cheaper to get the entire pack. It's like $29.99 for the entire set at most stores for the PC.

$47 here in Finland for the whole set, only $20 for promathia and zilart, i'll just buy them, since i'm not sure whether i like it or not. thanks again
