So I've been pondering the idea of entering a trance for quite sometime now. Might be just a complete loon here but i think I've actually entered a few before. Might just be my imagination though. O well.

So the main point is. has anyone else tried to enter one, or seen someone do it before?

I remember trying something like that a few times.
But I don't fully understand the term though (some medical aspects or whatever), so I don't know if what I tried counts as "trance".

Something like "my body moves, but I don't feel that I am the one who moving it".
It sometimes happens to me when I wake up.

And it happened once when I was running. It was useful because I was really tired and thought about stopping. But then I kinda stopped feeling my body but kept running.
I even run faster than before because I didn't feel tired.

Don't know if that what you mean though.
And yes, I tried a few times to go into such state myself. I am often try to prove that I can 100% control my brain. Even though I know it isn't true.

I always try to do it when I am running. I think it is like not focusing on it and letting the subconscious mnd take over. personally I am able to run alot faster that way. occasionally happens to me when I am tired while driving a car. strangely enough the unconscious seems to be able to do it really well.

The closest I've ever come to falling into a "trance" would be while I am near passing-out/blacking-out (not meaning tired). It seems like any time I'm close to those points my perception seems to sky-rocket and I see things more clearly. Then, everything becomes fuzzy and I see little floating dots. Yeah... It's odd. :/

Would meditation count as a trance here? I sometimes do when running but i think that's called a runner's high? Not sure on that one. But i think it's just a form of meditation, focusing the front of the mind on a mundane task so the rest can find peace type deal.

My First Post

I think that I've entered a Trance before. I have a really vivid imagination and sometimes I can "leave" my body and explore places that I come up with. It's really kind of odd, and from what other people say, it's rare. It's almost like a daydream, but I like completely black out. Once I was on the bus, and then I was at school and I remembered nothing about the way there.

I have no say in wether that's considered an actual trance or not. But if it helps you focus on your running and helps you with it, I consider it to be one.
