I cannot believe they do not have Tomberries in this game. I mean, they made a retarded version of the Catuar, but instead of a monster for this creature, they named a stupid ship after it. I cannot believe it!

No tonberries? that's ridiculous. you HAVE to have tonberries, along with cactaurs, mimics, and moogles. of course, there were no moogles in X...

Yeah, I wasn't too worried or even bothered by them not having the regualr summons in the game, but Tonberries sure as hell pissed me off when they were not found walking around the Subterra with a Chef's Knife in one hand and a latern in the other...

Lulu had moogle dolls in FFX... at least it's something. Final Fantasy XII didn't even have a reference to the Tonberries. It would have been perfect too! Unlike the other games where they had to cleverly figure out a way to show that he's slowly creeping towards you, in this game they could have actually just made him walk slowly. No lights in Subterra... all you can hear is like the clanking of a chef's knife and that light... it would have been so creepy. You're fighting an onslaught of undead and Bunes... and you just hear this little clank in the distance. All of a sudden you could care less aobut all of these guys, there's a damn Tonberry on the way! Ah! I would've been awesome. He'd be slow and you could run away from him if you wanted... but he'd just keep coming. Slow and steady.

Tonberrys were one of my favourite Fiends in FFX and FFX-2 I felt certain they'd get a part in XII but alas FFXII dissapoints again and I agree Cactuars were ruined in this game - not so much Moogles or Chocobos though.

I wish the had Tonberries. Them and their little knifes and their beady eyes, they're so cute that you just wanna cuddle with them. But while you're doing that they'l stab you in the back. I was surprised that there were no Tonberries in FFXII, and made me kinda pissed off and disappointed. The Moogles weren't really Moogles either, I don't like these new age moogles with their clothes and their different colors. I remember back in FFIX when there would be a Moogle save point that would pop out of no where in a hollow tree branch...yea those were the days.

Uh...yes it did. Remeber right at the very beginning when you played as Rek's? They fought a machine.....that was tonberry......

But I agree...the actual tonberries are missing.....they scared me, alot, but I kinda miss them.

Aswell as the Antlion. I vaguely recall that.

I think Tonberries has a pretty special way of fighting, unlike every other fiends...so I guess this real time battle config. maybe doesn´t fits pretty well on him, or we can just guess that in ff tactics and the tactics advance ( Ivalice's stories ) he didn`t appeared either.

I'm agreeing with Shin, though they are and should be kept a tradition of constantly being in every FF, it would of been really awkward fighting them with the new battle system, they really are better kept with the old, everyone line up in a row then fight, keeping at a distance.

I think the tonberries would've fit perfectly into the new system. You don't need to change anything really. Entites move slow in this game too. Why couldn't you have a slow moving Tonberry? He just kept creeping towards your party to stab one of them and take them out. If you put him in the Pharos, you'd probably be fighting off everything else... and then he just shows up. lol And you'd have to kill him off before he got to your party.

ZOMG! lol THat'd be so awesome! They could have such special effects to their person too... like black mist somewhat shrouding them wherever they traveled. *prances* That'd be so freakin wickid! SQUEE!

=_=; Ah yes, Tonberries. *Shudders* Bad memories...

XD But damn, I miss the little buggers, despite being oh-so-creepy.

While I watched my bro (AKA Tacticalshadow0) play XII, I was, AT LEAST, expecting a Tonberry or two to show up, so he can take out that little dagger he has to stab us with while holding a latern in the other hand.

T_T; Needless to say, I was pissed that there weren't any! And there weren't many chocobos or Moogles either! And as for the Cactuars? ;.; BAH, HORRIBLE! I wanted to keep their old look! >_<

They should've kept the tradition! WTF is a game without its past tradition references?! *Shakes fist*
