So I was wondering... when every other measurement in the world is divided between Imperial and Metric systems of measurement, why time is measured the same for everyone? Non-standard measuring systems even differ country to country. I'm pretty sure no other country measures anything in length of a "football field", which we know as Americans is 100 yards. Britain is pretty much the only place that measures in terms of a "stone", which is actually an Imperial metric of 14 pounds. So why then is time in hours, minutes, and seconds for everyone? Anyone know?

Hmmmm good question actually. I honestly have no idea. But it seems to make sense to have it the same as to avoid confusion when travelling and for the stock market etc but then again itd make sense for eveywhere to keep their measurements the same aswell i guess. Metric system is a far better way of working imo.
To answer your thread aztec, i really dont know.
