I'm sick of hearing that Aeris is Cloud's true love. Do these people actually support necrophilia? That's gross. Aeris obviously died as a sign that Cloud is supposd to be with Tifa and nobody else. They were meant to be together from the beginning. Just because some flower-selling bimbo comes along all of a sudden and screws things up doesn't change FATE. This is FATE people, not some silly game.

hey i think Aeris is clouds true lurve cause they are so compatible together don't you think so??

o0 but didn't you see that cloud i think treats aries way better then he treats tifa?? correct me if i'm wrong XD

If you've played FFVII more than once, you'd know it's up to the player how to treat the girls. You can get Tifa on a date if you don't like Aeris. You can get Yuffie and Barret too.

I'm really sorry ClotiFan but what I'm sick of is pure Clorith lovers and pure Cloti lovers that don't try to have an open mind to things. Yes, I'm a Clorith, but you know what? I believe in moving on as well. Cloud was never a necrophilia. He never loved a corpse. He loved Aerith just as much as Tifa. *sigh* Fate? Fate is nearly the same as Devotion. I hate the AC.net forums...I really don't want it to be brought here.

Aerith isn't a flower-selling bimbo. Tifa isn't a ho. She's a barmaid.

Now why the hell can't you just at least TRY to be a little open-minded to the Clorith pairing? I think it's ludicrous that people can't see why Tifa and Cloud just won't work. I think it's even more ludicrous when people use the whole Cloud is a necrophilia stuff. And you know what? I hate these stupid WHOS BETTER? TIFA or Aerith polls. And it really is quite obvious that you like Tifa considering you capitalized all the letters in her name.

If you knew anything about fate you'd know that you can't change it. Aeris couldn't have been Cloud's fate, because she had to die for the planet to be saved. So all that's left is Tifa, unless you're saying Cloud's into necrophilia (which was my point that you so childishly misconstrued).

Lol, ok then he is a necrophilia because you are obviously too close minded to think of Cloud as anything else if he liked Aerith.

You're arguing that he is destined to be with a dead person. I just don't understandwhat you're getting at. Explain to me what you mean instead of insulting me, please.

Life is full of choices. You're trying to make it seem like Cloud HAS to be with Tifa when he doesn't. Of course if it is his choice then so be it. What I'm trying to say is whatever makes him happy. Whatever makes Cloud happy is based on your interpretation, the way thinks were meant to be.

I've said nowhere that Cloud HAS to be with Tifa. I'm arguing that based on the story and plot (which is all you can base an argument on concerning a literary piece), Cloud is destined to be with Tifa because Aeris died. It's very heavily implied by the text as a whole, especially considering the movie and the cinematic techniques employed to present such a case.

That's just confusing. You're saying he's destined to be with Tifa, yet he doesn't have to be with her?

In the story, if it was written that he decided not to be with Tifa and to live a solitary life, then that would be that. But seeing as the text doesn't focus on the extension of his romantic life, we're just to assume based on human nature that he'll want to settle down with someone. And that, of course, would have to be Tifa because the writers presented no other option. You have to remember that Cloud is not a living entity with free will. He is a fictional character, so you have to purely think within the confines of the story; what is presented to us.

Ok, I guess you're right there. But I'm being honest here...I've read CoT and CoD and I've watched Advent Children a million times...and I never thought that Cloud would settle down with Tifa. Call me crazy, but that's just how I interpreted the story =/. Square always has some sort of loophole and you can interpret lots of things through them.

The ending of Advante Children totally implies that he's been released of the self-constraints and depression. In fact, I would say that accepting Aeris' death was purely included to imply he'd be with Tifa.

I agree with you 100% there. Just not the second sentence ^ ^

I'm more than glad Cloud did that. Now whichever choice he decides to make really is a mystery to us and no matter what anyone says, you can't completely tell. Alot of people who support Cloti think they have concluded that Cloud will eventually settle down with Tifa, but unless I see them have a kid in DoC-2 I will stay with my opinion ><.

The way I reach that conclusion is, Tifa has been trying to get with Cloud forever, so now that he's taken down the wall around him, he'll finally be able to see this and let her into his heart.

*Nods* That's possible.
