Bit late to this, just as I'm late to everything here at the moment, but here is our first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder (the fourth Thor film).

It'll be dealing with Thor's life post-Endgame, as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy, some of the gods of Olympus (Russell Crowe is set to be Zeus and can be partially seen in the trailer!) and the return of Jane Foster.

I loved Thor: Ragnarok and think Taika Waititi did a wonderful job, so hopefully this is as good.

Feel free to discuss hopes and fears concerning this film.

I meant to post this second trailer a few weeks ago but got busy and forgot.

Thor: Love and Thunder is shaping up to be looking pretty good. Hopefully the film delivers, but they have promised that Bale's character (the villain Gorr the God Butcher) will be fantastic. He certainly looks dark and intimidating, and the black and white colour tones of the shots where he is prominent draw this out.

I'm looking forward to the Olympians (or some of them) at last. With any luck this will be setting the stage for Hercules one day.

I managed to watch this once my covid isolation ended.

I think I preferred Ragnarok, but the artsy anti-franchise critics were far too harsh on this film. Bale's Gorr was fantastic. Korg always rocks. There was a mixture of humour and serious, depressing aspects (although not evenly balanced).

For me, though, my favourite part must be Russell Crowe's Zeus. He stole the show in his scenes.

And the mid-credits scene shows that Hercules will, at last, be in the MCU! I've long awaited that, so this is good news for me. I only wonder how long it will take them to actually use him.
