the zodiac spear(s)

Having to avoid certain chests in the game? I think the whole idea is ridiculous. They should have came up with something more relevant if you ask me. Japanese mindtricks, thats what it is. You wanna open it but you cant. Ohhhhhhhhh_
 
The thing that bothers me about that is I loot like crazy on every game. As well as the only way to get that spear is to either look it up or don't open any chest in the game. I'm a classic gamer that likes to not us guides to help me get stuff. That really made me mad
 
I'm hoping you didn't just find out about this Zodiac Spear...if so, then oh my.

Well, the good news is, it's easy to remember where the 4 chests are. The first is in front of Old Dalan's place. The next one is in the cellar of the palace (the big area where you have to let the seeq distract the guard so you can go up the stairs). Then, the spot where you get your weapons back after you were thrown in that dungeon (there is a save point and then a little room to the right that has about 3 chests). And the last one is one of the chests amongst the big group of 16 in Phon Coast (I have never seen which one, guides always seem to recommend not touching any of them).

You'd have to look it up for the exact ones though, but I tend to just let them all go. They all tend to contain junk anyway.

Again:
1. In front of Old Dalan's place
2. 1 of the 2 Southeastern chests in the cellar of Rabinastre Palace
3. The 3 chests in Nalbina Dungeon's Confiscatory
4. The 16 chests in Phon Coast

All in all, this one is much easier.
 
The spear at the Hennes Mine is tough to find if i didnt remember wrongly. The chest only appear 1/10 times, and each time it appear, the chances of it containing the spear is 1/10.
 
Apparently there are people who have found ways to gimmic the system and get multiple zodiac spheres.
Check out youtube..they have videos of their methods.

Takes a while though and requires a lot of resetting/soft resets.

I never had the patience for doing that kind of thing.

bears is right about avoiding the chests.The spear in Henne is tough to get usually .
