this looks funny to me somehow........ it looks like a cut-out. i don't like the pictre much, which reminds me of Dynasty Warriors character not a samari.

Yeah, it was kind of an odd picture >_o ......I really didn't like working with it, the background itself was kinda.........off and I don't know who it is in the picture at all xD He was just insistent that I use this pic, I normally never use pics that look like this xD

Actually I think it looks sick. I love the half-border thing, though I wish it didn't have a rounded corner.
The only bit I didn't like was the series of dashes. Just wondering, did they ask for it in black/white or was that your idea?

That was my idea actually. Only cause the picture in color is.....well, it's a little bland, and it's from a magazine scan, so it's incredibly grainy and washed out :x I'm working on another version that's in color, but so far I'm not liking it. I may post the color version at a later date.
The rounded corner I can take out, and I probably will, he'd probably like it better without it either

I like the first oe you did. The effects are great and very shiny I also like the Riku one because its colorful.

I just re-did the entire tag and didn't even bother to show the last one to the guy that requested it, cause I figured he wouldn't want it since he's so picky *rolls eyes*

Oh no, every sig I make or get HAS to have a border. I cant stand my pieces without borders. I always like nice simple black borders, makes it solid. To me it looks untidy and not completed without one, but thats me.

I prefer having a border but it doesn't have to always be a black one, no border at all or a dark blue one would suit that a bit better.
lol To each his/her own I suppose. If i use a border at all, most of the time it's a 2px white border, or something simple and similar or no border at all.

When it comes to borders it'll be of a colour on the sig unless it's a special case, I prefer to have it seem actually part of the sig and not seem tacked on.
I understand what you're saying there, I guess once again it all just boils down to personal tastes. I'm just not a huge fan of border's in general. I used to use them on every single thing I ever made, but my tastes changed I guess. That's why I generally don't use them about 80% of the time.
That's more of how I go about using borders, the reason why I actually do is because it was beaten into me by better graphic artists on another forum for not doing the same. After using them for a bit it sort of became second nature but doesn't always look right, might drop it on my current sig because of the size of it.
