Triple Triad Tournament​

Greetings people of the RPG Realm. I, STL, am honored to present you the results of the first Triple Triad Championship Tournament 2007, held yesterday. The tournament was small, yes, but I assure you that most of the participants had a very good day and enjoyed it. Due to the fact that Triple Triad Tournaments are easier to follow than Battle Tournaments, the Grand Triple Triad Championship Tournament will be schedule for May, so that all players have until then to register and prepare for the big tournament.

Because I can't obviously take care of this whole tournament by myself, I will asign special judges who will help me to take care of this tournament and organize the categories.

Right now, the max level of card that is currently available is 6 by May I will assign LV8 cards to one of the newest shops of the RPG Realm, or perhaps add a new section to Valencia in which you must have a certain level to access it, who knows, I still have plenty of time to think about a new idea :lol:

Let me congratulate the members that helped with the TT Tournament, specially the member Arthvader who brought the idea to me and was mostly in charge of the Tournament.

Global Announcement:
The next section of the world map is currently on development and 75% of the new areas is complete. Hopefully the opening of the new areas is schedule to happen on next Friday, that is if nothing wierd happens or if by any reason I lose my memory or something like that:P ok, that won't happen, the area is almost complete and just needs to be tested:cool:

Remember:

*Mini Tournaments will be held around here in order to prepare you all for the Grand Championship Tournament.
*The Price Card for Mini Tournaments will be either LV 8 or LV 9 Cards.
*The price card for the Grand Championship Tournament will be: a LV 10 rare FFVIII Character Card! It can be either Seifer, Edea, Zell, Laguna, Kiros, Rinoa or even the Extremely Rare Card Squall.
*For updates on the next tournaments, get in contact with one of the Triple Triad Instructors of the RPG Clan, The SeeDs

Squall if you are giving us lvl 8 cards then making them available then that makes are cards worthless once you do that because then anyone can get them.

Well, do you know what actually takes to reach the Hidden Floor of the next new area in which some LV 8 Cards (not yours) will be available?:P

I'd like to join but I'm not sure if I'll be able to play in the tournaments. If it's not on a weekend then it's a definite no, but if it is then there is a maybe depending on stuff I might have to do. So I would like to join but I'm just stating that I might not be able to participate in all tournaments.

Well, they will mostly be held on weekends because it's easier since everyone has more free time.
 
Mostly see. I won't be able to participate in them all anyways because I still have school, friends, chores, and my family is trying to move so we are trying to sell our house. So, all in all, nowhere near your level of stress, but I'm going to have a lot of trouble being really active.
 
Damn, I wish I would've taken that battle more seriously. I thought the Novice Cup Prize would've been a card I could buy edventually. Shit.

I'll be sure to hustle my ass off before the next one starts to get some better cards.
 
I'm going to try to get ready for the next tournament whenever i finally reach the Colosseum so i could get LV 5 Cards.

That price card, yes but.

Remember that FFVIII Character cards will be extremely rare and can only be obtained through Tournaments or Hidden Areas. They won't be available at normal shops.

GF Cards, like Ifrit and Shiva, will be available at secret shops hidden through the hardest areas. Normal LV 8 Cards will be available at Normal Card Shops.


The Squall Card will be among the list of possible prices for the Grand Tournament and believe me, that card is cool:cool:

I'll sign up as well. I've been waiting for people to get hoked on TT and now's my chance to have some fun. :D:D
 
It doesn't matter what cards we use if we use nothing but lv. 1 cards. As far as I am concerned, those matches are the best- set Combo, Open Hand and Sudden Death on, and you can have a very intense, strategic match.
