Teachers are generally infamous and stereotyped as such that they hand out homework all of the time, pick on people, are unfair and are the personification of evil, at least to children anyway.

What do you think of your teachers? Are they all as described above? Or do you actually have some teachers you consider friends?

I have a good number of favourite teachers:

~ Miss Doherty, AKA, Doc. She's bound to be the best teacher in the world and the one who everyone knows, either as the bitch or the person who you love for being a bitch. Hahaha, I better not give her a bad rep. She's hilarious, sarcastic and intelligent. Put 'em together and you've got a teacher who can make everyone laugh, be it with a joke, a witty retort or a random fact. She's quite often referred to as one of the bairns :P

~ Mrs Adlam. Adlam is joint #1 teacher at the moment. She teaches Religious Education but is only here until the end of the year, however. She's one of these teachers who will tell you about anything, such as her piercings and tattoo's on her ... her. She's very easy to talk to, is great in a crowd and cna quite literally pass for a hyper-active child.

~ Miss Ward. Yet another one of the hilarious, sarcastic and intelligent teachers. She's also a guidance teacher, along with the title of one of the coolest.

~ Miss Forbes, AKA, Da Forbes/Forbesy. Forbes left recently to take up a post in another school. This music teacher was the best person you will ever meet, really. She is extremeley talented in her job, very sociable and not to mention down to earth - not one of these teachers who yell "DETENTION" with every spare breath.

~ Miss Miller. The youngest and best Maths teacher anyone will ever have. You want to know how good she is? She makes Maths fun! :lol: How many other Maths teachers do you know can do that?

Well, that's all of the good ones. If I listed the bad ones, your eyes would get sick of me.

I only got 1 teacher friend, the rest hate me and just like to give me detention... well I dont mind, at least I got normal friends, and theres me math teacher she scares me alot, so I hide under the chair, and the computer teacher, who is probably a prostitute, there a pole in the middle of the class, proves it
 
Well my art teacher watches porn, shes' a women... once she didn't notice me, we sneaked up and when she heard us she quickly closed the window
 
Miss Ward? What an interesting coincidence. I had a teacher called Mr. Ward who was also witty and intelligent and sarcastic, who had a similar brand of dark humor as mine, although better. He was good too, although he was considered a part of the "Golden Triangle of Doom" along with two other "nasty" teachers.

A lot of my teachers are actually like that. My Maths teacher being one of them. I just can't stand her. Any further than one joke in her class is too far. But we love taking the piss out of her. She's really clumsy and so we always tease her for that. I guess she's not that bad when she's in a good mood.

There are a few teachers I do really like though.

Mr O'Dwyer: I regard him so highly and I never thought I'd have so much respect for a teacher. He is just outstanding at what he does. He's my Biology teacher and so teaches half of my Science lessons [12 periods, he teaches 6 of them]. He spends a lot of time making his lessons fun and memorable so we don't forget anythining in our exam. He gives up a lot of his breaks and lunches just so he can help us. He's even putting his job on the line for us. Basically, our coursework isn't meant to be given back to us but he's allowing us to improve it. He got voted the best youngest teacher in the southwest and went on for the national award, I'm not sure how he did though. But that gives you an idea of how good he is.

Mrs Barry: You can always have a laugh with her and you're always aware of how far to push with her before she gets mad. I like that about her. She lets you have a good time but she makes sure it doesn't go out of control so you actually learn. She goes through English very thoroughly, and gets you very prepared for the up and coming exams. She's a senior manager at our school and she does mean business at times xD. But if you make the effort, she will too, which I think is perfectly fair.

Mr Milford: Teaches me P.E, theory wise and sometimes practically. HE's just good at what he does, and he's easy to talk to. A bit sexist though, which is a disappointment. He's not bad looking xD A lot of girls have a crush on him.
 
I'm friends with practically all of my teachers. They're easier to talk to than the immature and apathetic kids at my school - I find myself relating to them more with ease. My favourable subjects (maths, chemistry/science, English) have teachers which are really into their field of study, so that helps all the more. Much more intelligent conversations can be conducted versus speaking about the latest game score or feed of gossip.

The homework load is often times fair - the students I've seen don't manage their time well, therefore echoes the whine of too much. Just pay attention in class so you know what you're doing and prioritize - the homework will then not take long and you'll have less to carry home.

I have a problem with a few of my teachers though. Thanks to certain programs developed by the educational department, lessons are basically already created and the teacher serves a minimal purpose. I struggle in classes with these programs, as I'm not being taught anything hands-on, rather, from pure text and no real explanation/exploration of the material.
 
I feel extremely bad for teachers and what they have to put up with from some kids. I never gave my teacher's a hard time, but there were always a few people(Even In HS) That would say rude things. Teachers show all of their students respect, So why can't the students show them an equal amount? I mean, c'mon, you are 18 and a senior in HS, GROW UP!!! I'm not talking to any of you guys, I'm just reffering to people I knew in HS.
 
I once had a Geography teacher that was called ward. he was an evil sob if ive ever met 1. He was kinda quirky, like he used to have little red dots on the floor that we had to line the desks on and was the only man i have ever and will everknown not to have been mocked for wearing socks and sandles. He also used to makethe art teacher cry alot and used to walk round the class room with a ruler and smashing it betweeen anybodies hands just for doing something wrong like smiling which he gave detentions for. Boy i hated geography
Now hes a bus driver and i havent used public transport in 4 years.
 
There was a rumour that the only male art teacher had got a girl in his art cupboard at his previous school. But of course when youre young, youd believe that sort of thing. But he was a pervert, he always tried to tuck the girls shirts in and sort out their skirts. My friend threatened to scream in his face if he dared touch any of us lol.

But of course we had some coolio teachers. Mr Farrell was our french teacher and a huge Manchester United fan. If they were playing and you were a fan you got no homework! He was cool. And Mrs Barnard, our art teacher who let us listen to the radio in class. And Mrs Nuttall, our RE teacher. Not many people liked her, but me and her got on really well. She was a lovely woman.
