The Riddles Game

I know that there's already an FFVII riddles thread, but rather than have riddle threads for the twenty-odd incarnations of Final Fantasy, I figure a general riddle thread is needed.

Here are a few rules:

1. ALWAYS state the name of the FF it's from. This can be expressed as a number (1, IX, etc.) or abbreviation (AC, 12-RW, etc.).
2. DON'T just post riddles from other threads or forums. Be original.
3. If nobody gets the answer for a few days, post a hint. If nobody gets it for more than a week, you should probably reveal the answer.
4. When answering, explain your answer. If someone gets part of the answer to YOUR riddle right, say so.

Anywho, here's the starter. It's from FFIX...

Twice to summon,
Thrice we hunt,
Once more the final strives
to ensure our princess dies

Fairly easy I'd say.

Its the Waltzes:

Twise to summon: Its summoned by those annoying clowns Zorn and Thorn.
Thrice we hunt: There is 3 waltzes.
Once more the Final strives: The 3rd waltz you have to fight twice.
to ensure the princess dies: They are bosses trying to kill Garnet... altho I believe this is a mistake as the first three times you face them they arnt trying to kill Garnet they are just trying to take her home to her mother, the second time you fight no.3 he is crazy and is out to kill Garnet.

OMG, I surprised this thread hasn't gotten more attention. Darkblade, I'll guess for your riddle the Chocobo! It's cute and fuzzy and when you attack it, it runs away.
