you nailed it with these...I totally agree with the Hidden Characters and main character who dosen't look like a little girl. And is it to hard to get a cast of characters that are a little older then 15 16 years old? *cough* blue dragon *cough* FFXII finally had older characters and I think it worked out great. And we get it religions are fucked up...move on. :blink:
 
hmm, a classic FF stroyline template, a war of somekind, maybe the game would explore a more serious storyline and atmosphere, with a lesser gap between good and evil? with tons of humor thrown in as well:), (not like in XII, where you're not allowed to smile....also i would NOT like to see a cliche story like in VIII, will they/wont they?,

The characters being deeply individual like in IX, or having a job system of FFV, 10 or more characters, with a 4 player party

i like both ATB turnd based, random encountered battles and the battles in XII

Rich chocobo sidequests, maybe a combination of VII and IX, and classic moogles from IX

I didnt like the summons in XII, i prefer the old skool, classics like Shiva/Ifrit/Bahamut, it would be cool to see them running around like in XII, or maybe even control them!

A learning system like in IX or X would be nice, with 5 equipment slots,

hmm, the setting, maybe a deeply medieval theme, like in IX and XII, or a post-apocalyptic one, with limitless variety of places, characters and species....;)

Music, of course by Nobuo Uematsu, who composes rich and memorable themes that really grip your emotions, not like the music in X-2, japanese pop?, what happened there i wonder?

a really good cardgame & airships (you could buy different ones maybe)

An expansive world map

Loot, accessory creation from FFXII

AND LOADS OF OTHER ESSENTIAL FF STUFF, like:
cid, wedge, biggs, ultima and omega weapon, masamune, gil, moogles, chocobos, black mages, mimics, genji gear, ghysahl greens, and huge, round marlboros (not like in XII, kupo...)

Haha, yeah, they totally should add a couple of hidden characters as well, which I totally forgot to add on my list. That alone would make the game rather interesting.

In fact, I think I'd have 2 separate games for the heck of it, one medieval, with teh chocobo jousting tourney as was mentioned in another thread, and one sort of like VII with a more modernistic theme.
 
Yeah, go chocobo jousting!

I forgot to mention Blitzball, it doesn't have to fit into the story, its just goooood, hidden characters also, maybe a good/evil path towards the same goal,hmm, and a gold saucer type place with a casino and arcadey games..:P
