The Occuria

So I'm on my second play through Final Fantasy XII and I was just handed the Treaty Blade at Giruvegan. It just occured to me that I don't know exactly what the Occura want.

I know that the Occura are the "Gods" and that Venat is also one of them. Venat wanted to set "the reins of history back in the hands of man" and disclosed the secrets of Nethicite to Doctor Cid, hence "Manufacted Nethicite." Venat is a "heretic" or an outcast, as a result.

What do the Occura actually want Ashe to do, and why?

EDIT:
After watching the scene with Reddas at Balfonheim, am I right in saying that the Sword of Kings destroys the Sun-Cryst, whereas the Treaty Blade can cut more Deifacted Nethicite from the Sun-Cryst?

I'm still not sure why the Occuria would give such power to the Humes.

It's been several months since I played, but If I remember the

Occura wanted Ashe to kill Venat because he violated the rules and went against the rest of the Occura.

The Occura always controlled man with the Nethicite as a collective group and I guess Venat went off on his own and started to manipulate Vayne as well as Dr. Cid going against the pre-designed plans of what the other Occura wanted done, thus in short pi**ing off the rest of the Occura.

So, they where manipulating Ashe as well knowing that she also thirsted for the power of the Nethicite and revenge.

I'm sure there's more to it, but that all I can remember. Also, it's possible some of my details may be wrong, If so, sorry. It's kinda what I remember of it though.

From what I understood of it, is the

Occuria have always controlled the kings and leaders of Ivalace through the power of the Neticite and man's inherit greed for power, so if they weren't happy with the current political structure they would in sue war between the nations and make sure that the nation or kingdom they wanted in power would win. Again, through the use of the Nethicite.

Just a bit Lol... I was hoping we'd get a lot more background story on the Occura, but ah well, hopefully SE has some future project up their sleeves to give us a lot more on this story at least.
