In any of the games in the FF series, what is it that really grinds your gears and makes you just want to eat your disc? :gasp:

For me, it's trying to assemble the final weapons in VIII when the monsters REFUSE to give you the items you need. Also, in X, when you want to get their final weapons/complete the monster arena.

Grrr.

Yes those things annoy me too, especially when I'm after pissing energy crystals, getting ultimate weapons is always a bit of a chore

But I really hate deserts and towns with RANDOM ENCOUNTERS, that really gets my goat. it's probably one of the most anoying things ever.

Oooh a town, Im safe *wanders in* 'Now, where's that inn.......WTF?!*

WIPED OUT CAN KISS MY ARSE

I also resent training, I'm too impatient

I hate looking for things that you know are theree somewhere but you just can't quite hit the X button in the right place or just find it in general (yeah Im looking at YOU reat glacier, wih your blendy in materia :stare:)

1. Malboros....when you're underleveled, or simply just playing for the storyline they are awfully annoying.

2. Searching parts for weapons in FFVIII....Now why the hell doesn't a malboro(yeah...back to them) drop a malboro tentacle after it dies? I mean it has like tons of them when you fight it....:ohshit:

3. Parts of the game where all you do is....encounter monsters randomly....after a couple of hours of doing that it gets pretty ...boring.

I really hate it when you train only your three favourite characters, and then you're put into a situation where you're forced to use your horribly under-leveled party members. FFIX and FFVIII were notorious for this -__-

FFVI was also gittish for that I really hated having to take the time to level every stinking character, it did my shed in, getting seperated into 3 groups just made me want to scream

Levelling jobs cn get quite tedious aswel, I didn't mind it in FFIII but it is an absolute bum hole in V. It's really beginning to test my patience

Where my favourite character generally seems to die in a game. That being especially true with XII. :/

Getting the items needed to create the Toursenal in FF12, pain in the ass ';..;'
and getting the legendary weapons in FFX, especially wakkas which I still havent done.

One of the most annoying things to me was the magic lag in FFXII. It made it even harder to beat tough bosses like the Hell Wyrm and Yiazment whom you need to use multiple spells against.

Another thing I hated were all of the random encounters, especially in FFX. In some places, I'd move forward maybe two steps and then get thrown into battle. It drove me insane! :gasp: It's not that bad if you're trying to level up, but it's really a pain in the arse when all you want to do is get from point a to point b.

It was a real pain trying to master all the materia in FFVII, it just takes for freaking ever.

FFXII, where every chest you find seems to be filled with crap like 1 gil and potions. Even after the first area!

and FFCC, where the story is extremely boring and there's no point to it -.-

I'd have to agree with the Marlboro's... spending an hour in the Omega dungeon in X levelling up. my first striker(Auron) and Tidus with ribbon not in starting formation...and bam! ambushed...grrr

i wonder what Marlboro's taste like battered, deep fried and with a slice of lemon.....

I really hate getting the items for weapon upgrades in ff8. Also getting both pieces for the celestial weapons in 10 were just annoying.

Ah speaking of ultimate weapons, anyone bother getting the 65,000 some kills with Death Penalty to kill Emerald Weapon in one hit? Lulz, tell me that isn't a waste of time? XP

FFVI - The fact you can't run away from battles with all four characters at once especially when I got stuck in a situation where one of these enemies kept freezing my character and I couldn't escape or even attack.

FFX - Dodging lightning to get Lulu's weapon and catching butterflies for Kimahri's weapon. What a waste of time that is.

Beating Omega Weapon in any Final Fantasy game can be frustrating for me at times because they make them a bit overpowering to handle even at level 99.

Mine was how I was searching for something important or had a time limit and monsters seem to appear more frequently. It was so annoying, really. That really got my boxers in a bunch.

Also, searching for the ultimate weapons in FFVIII were a big pain in my rear.
