Hi :)

Been seeing a lot of good footage for the remake of Trials of Mana (Know as Seiken Densetsu 3 in Japan) game set for 2020 - It looks like they've put a lot more effort into it compared to the Remake of Secret of Mana ( Known in Japan as Seiken Densetsu 2).
I've never heard anyone mention the games in this forum, so I thought I'd make a thread to discuss them :)
Trails of Mana Pre-Order:
PS4 Version @ The Game Collection - £30.95
Switch Version @ The Game Collection - £35.95

Also, the first game in the series was made available on PS Vita! As Adventures of Mana - It's also playable on the PlayStatIon TV!:

The 2D versions have recently been released on Nintendo Switch as The Collection of Mana. It has all games mentioned above but in their original versions Trials of Mana being translated for the 1st time ever!

But that's not all! Dark Horse who are the pioneers of Video Game Artbooks are making one on the Mana series! Set to come out early next year!:

The neat thing is the Secret of Mana remake on PS4 you can play it Multi-player with 2 other companions as your team mates! Worth checking out if you haven't already

I've played it, but I wasn't impressed. The graphics are slapdash, and the hit boxes for you and the enemies is waaaaaay off. It's not the common consensus, but I much prefer Sword of Mana on the GBA, which was more than just a remaster, but a complete remake. People usually ding it because, at the time, it was advertised to be multiplayer, but all that the function amounts to is that you import your friend's character so that you can summon him. Hardly what people expected when the game came out. And to be fair, multiplayer became part of the traditional "Mana" experience with Secret of Mana and was always the reason to buy a SNES multitap. But IMHO, Sword of Mana is still a fantastic game that captures everything else that we fell in love with for the series. It is criminally underrated and is superior to the GBA original in terms of graphics, story, and gameplay.
