The Madness of Giygas
Well, this is just the beginning of a story I have thought of for a long time. Just to say I might have a few grammar errors and I may use commas a little too much, but I can't help it, just focus on the damn story.
This is set back in very ancient times.
It tells of friends on a certain planet, that is threatened by a dark force, but as their adventure continues... they find out how truly dark it is.
The Legend of the Darkness
The Great Darkness...
Source of all Hatred, Anger, Madness, Carnage, and Destruction in the Universe...
Once, before Time, there was a Great Being...
This Great Being split in two, who eventually, began to fight...
These two energy forms, fought on and on... for millenia...
And at last, there was a victor...
This "victor" is the one we call the Great Light...
...and the other...
The Profound Darkness...
The Great Light, after defeating it's foe, sealed the Darkness in a dimensional prison...
As Time went on, The Profound Darkness' hatred, anger, and envy grew...
The Profound Darkness' hatred became so great, that it corrupted itself...
It became the greatest evil, in all of the Universe' history...
It's madness went on, further corrupting and destroying the realm that it was inside...
The Great Light sensed this, and knew The Profound Darkness would break free...
...and because of the powers it was given by it's great hatred, it would destroy The Great Light...
The Great Light feared the ressurection of The Profound Darkness...
And created a solar system...
This solar system, with five planets, was the seal on The Profound Darkness' dimensional prison...
If this system were to be destroyed... The Profound Darkness would break free...
...and utterly destroy The Great Light...
If that were to happen, the Universe would be destroyed...
Everything...
Everything ever in existence...
Corrupted...
Destroyed...
Ravaged...
By The Profound Darkness' hatred, anger, and madness...
We cannot allow this to happen...
The abomination that The Profound Darkness has created out of itself...
Destroy the portal...
And it's minions will be gone...
And the Universe...
Will live on... forever...
Chapter 1
I woke up in my room, with the morning light shining through the crystal-made windows. I knew today was yet another day of my good life, to go outside to play and hang around my friends. I had already had the day all planned out. I conjured myself some breakfast, without magic I simply could not live! As I went outside, I looked out on to the great view of the tall mountains in front of my house on the sheer face of the cliff.
In my hometown of Termid, such a beautiful town with blue and purple crystals protruding out of the sheer cliff it was on. The town hung above a very deep gorge in the middle of a barren, arid, sandy desert. The gorge seemed to go on forever when you looked down into it, sometimes you got dizzy looking down into its hellish depths. At the very bottom, as we all knew, was a large magma chamber in which we reside in for relaxing times. On the other side was the view of the Arktaklis Mountains, so cold and unforgiving.
Enough about the town, as I walked out onto the hanging streets of Termid, I heard a distinct "Magroth! There you are!". Who else could it be apart from my best friend Kinak? He was always a cheerful and mischievious boy, playing multiple pranks and my other friends and I when the time was right. Along side him was another friend of ours, Pyrus, a very intelligent, humble, and caring one of our group. Pyrus was incredibly defensive of us, he was, after all, the most powerful of our group, knowing how to control fire like an Elemental itself.
After a little meeting we decided to go out and find the rest of the group, about 3 others we still had to find in this cliff side town...
