Bloody hell, that's great stuff. The graphics around the face are mildly disappointing considering how incredible everything else seems, but I can live with that. Also, anyone else notice a physical similarity between 'The Conqueror' and Vayne? Not that they're possibly linked, but I think they could at least have give us something different.


Alas, looks generally amazing. Stupid me living in stupid Britain without the stupid simultaneous release...
 
same here, Europeans suffer the most!
But I think the battle look awesome and the fighting system looks cool as well, its not traditional rpg style

and last I have hope in the score of this game, I think there should be better sountracks here than what ff12 had to offer
 
If the music retains its credibility in the game as it does from the site, I'd say the music will be top-notch. Well, I enjoyed the background music. 8D

edit~ nvm I used the jp website. The game does look really interesting, all the more reason to buy a PS3

I absolutely love the way this game looks. I wonder if there will be any key difference between the 360 and PS3 versions though.....I'll probably just buy the PS3 version regardless though since my brother pretty much dominates our 360.

I find The Conquerer to be very intriguing looking :monster:

It wasn't anything mindblowingly awesome. The only thing that looked really good WAS the summon monster at the end.
 
It looks like a cross between Dynasty Warriors and Final Fantasy XII. Hopefully your character won't be super human like in DW.
 
I saw the trailer for this game a couple days ago. As far as graphics go, it looks better than FF12; the gameplay looks different and interesting, too. The only thing I'm worried about is something that the official website says about Square-Enix not worrying about the rating. Does that mean that it'll be all bloody and such?

Well, as the title says, I would like to know about, so please just post what you know. I already know thats it's gonna be crossed platformed for PS3 and Xbox360, Its a RPG, and yeah
 
Just checked this out. Certainly looks interesting and not a 'traditional' rpg. From the screenshots it looks almost arcadey, and the battle scenes reminds me of Dynasty Warriors.
 
you know what makes battles more enjoyable? Stance! I think a cool battle stance helps enjoying battles as well as characters in a game. as long as their stance is awesome, I don't care whether its CTB, ATB or action...
 
So let us get started shall we? :P It should be coming out in Japan and North America this year (no European date confirmed yet) and it seems like a title Square Enix is putting a lot of faith into. Who knows, this might become another popular Square franchise like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Quest. The combat system looks positively wicked, that is for sure. Fighting as much as 70 enemies as once will be epic!

I've never even heard of it, altho, tbh it wouldn't suprise me if we never got it anyway, we get over looked on far too much here in the UK -_-
 
http://lastremnant.net/ that isn't the official site, but it does contain a great deal more information. Actually I would be quite surprised if it never saw a PAL release. Atleast if it really is as important a title as Square says it is to them hehe.
 
I read all about this in GameInformer last year and got excited about it, but there has been absolutely no word on it since then. I'm still excited about it, though. I first thought it would just be something to hold me over until FF13 and Versus next year, but it looks like a great game in its own right.
