Can anyone tell me what the best way to beat him is?

Because he as insane stats like 200 Defense and stuff like that...and i used my pet to cast fira on him and it did almost no damage at all and i got owned really quick, plus i attacked him and he never even lost 1 health point.:dry:

Feel up yourself with high ether or full ether depends on your MPs.
Then make sure both of your character and your pet have CURE/CURA and BLIZARA , and atleast 80 speed.

Attack it with Blizara rapidly and when you are going to ran of HP use cura on that character or use ethers when you are ran of MP

Make sure to have blizara at level 5.
 
I have blizzara level 5 for both me and my pet, but i was using fira because it seemed more logical to use it since he is an ice golem lol.

I have 84 speed for me and 88 speed for my pet.

And i know cura but my pen can´t learn it, so i´m going to try that strategy.

You see my strategy was focus myself on streght and my pet on magic, anyone else use this strategy?

I shall try and beat him up now.
 
you should try gettin 1 or 2 people of a higher level to help you thats what i did,
but lvl 5 blizzara and ethers to keep up mp is a good stratagy
 
You can team up with somebody that is 50 levels higher than you. I beleive teaming is your best bet. Especially since you are fighting him after going through Roda Volcano. Which is kinda tough itself.

You will lose if go to fight him right now
CURA is for your character .
But your pet can learn CURE
Learn him cure and level it up .


I beat Ice golem alone. and really no need to anyone's help. Just don't use any magic on him except Blizara.
Fira takes zero of hits HP. Anytime you lost over 200 HP of your pet cast CURA on it and anytime you lost over 150 HP of your character cast CURE by your pet. but if you are there now, I can help you out, just don't forget HI ETHER and FULL ETHERs

To be honest, I do not remember. But yes, fira does nothing to Ice Golem because it's MAX is extremely low. Yes, Blizzara is probably the best spell against him.

We teamed up and killed it without any problem.

If you got level ups, add some STR and DEX on your character.Let your pet be a mage and your character semi fighter and semi mage.You will need melee attacks later.

Your character can be more powerfull with weapons, so use STR on it and leave magics for your pet, because it can't use weapons, so can't be so powerful in melee attacks


So , your character needs STR and your pet needs MAG ;) Good luck with that ( just suggested it ) Also you'll need more HP. Over 500

For train up your character kill YOUNG WYVRENS in FORTRESS OF TRIALS
They are so easy to beat and give good Exps.... Their weak point is their chest with melee attacks
 
Yes, since summon gets no weapons, it is usually a good strategy to concentrate on spells with the summon. But do not forget to add DEX as well as STR to the main character. Some of the monsters, later on, have high EVAs.

They are already highly skilled at evasion.
I saw Elves at 80 to 120 eva...
 
So i should focus on streght and dexterity for me? But what about defense and evasion aren´t they also important?
 
They are. but lets give you an example.

You have a high def and eva.but normal STR
A massive numbers of monsters attack you
You kill some of them using mag and you will ran of potions , then start attacks.
your attacks does no demage.... they will finally kill you

Now this

You have highly STR and DEX , but normal DEF and EVA
You get some hits, but land your hits upon them too. and you can use your pet as your supporter to cure you frequently.
You can kill over 20-30 of them this way.using your ethers
 
Your plan sounds good i´ll follow it...i will focus on streght and dexterity for the next few level ups and then upgrade evasion and defense.;)
