There is something that's been eating me since I first got a chance to play the Zanarkand Abes. What the hell is Tidus doing in Spira, and the Zanarkand Abes for that matter. It just doesn't make sense. Sure there are many Tidus fans accross the world but what
about him appearing in the end??

Think of it as an 'Easter Egg', added for fun; you could say the same for the entire team, afterall, they're dreams too. Perhaps an attempt to make it mildly interesting?
 
Kind of off topic here but after watching that video, blitzball looks so much easier to play on X-2, were the controls and what-not improved?

Back on-topic, I really don't get how Tidus is there
because he only comes back at the end, right? Depending on the ending you actually get?

On that note, how are the Abes even there? Does Zanarkand get re-populated or something?
 
I never took notice to that, but as mentioned above, it's probably just added into the game to give u a decent team to play with
 
And what else, in FFX you are allowed to change Tidus's name in any other one you want. In FFX-2 his name stays the same.
If SE wanted to put the Abes in they could've at least made a little blitz game after the end or something. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw him.
 
i think its just an extra, tidus is gone gone gone..
although it gets me thinking, if tidus ghost shows up, that means he must have died when returning to the year he belongs.

bad post, i just realised my mistake, tidus is from a thousand years before yuna..nvm.
got confused, i was thinking of the 2 year gap between 10 and 10-2.

What the crap! I beat this game years ago and never got to see that before.

It's obviously an easter egg, like people said, but it definitely is weird lol

Tidus comes back to Yuna if you beat the game at 100%.

I'm sure you all know that though lol
 
Yup just a little bonus feature as everyone has said. I never played sphere break so its not something i ever came across in the game.

I never questioned it until now :gasp:
But might be like game sharft or something.
I have seen that video before and i always thought that you got Tidus on your blitzball team when u get 100%.
But the game finishes ='/
