okayy so we are now reaching a time where disc based games will soon be extinct and the world will become even lazier as you qill be able to purchase games exclusively as DLC, anyway is anyone looking forward to this day or genrally disliking the fact that very soon Disc Games will cease to exist?
my opinion is i will hate the day disc based turns to DLC for good. i am a huge disc based fan and i think having games/dvds/cds are superb, mainly because i can show them off on a shelf and sayy "look at all my games"
another reason is hacking, being one of the main markets out there, swtiching to purchasing games as DLC rather than Disc will be a hackers/scammers heaven. im sure individual companies will have there own little areas where you can purchase games and whats stopping a fake DLC retailer being set up, you get things like that on the internet now. i enjoy buying online but always feel that there is a certain risk when doing so, no doubt the risk will increase the sooner DLC Games become the next "must have"
