The beginning of the RPG is slightly different now

To make room for expansion on Inferno, new players will now have a choice between the classic quest and a new adventure with different areas, stat setups and monsters. These two games are NOT interchangable, HOWEVER, players from both games can meet in Valencia. To get to the classic game, just click the NPC labled CLICK HERE TO START. Then move to the Choosing zone to begin either the classic adventure or the new adventure which is currently in progress.

If you have an existing account, just ignore these areas entirely.

Does the alternative story use the setup that you altered the current story to a while back? If so doesn't that give players using the alternative story a pretty big advantage?

Stats will not be changed for the alternate story. Also, I believe he has the trigger setup to only work for people with new RPG accounts.

These two games cannot intermingle EXCEPT at Valencia. This is because, as Strife said, players in the newer game will eventually be at an advantage.

This is also why Midgar HAS to be invisible, Koloth.

It depends on what is done with the old game. I would not count on the new game giving an advantage.
