That damn barrier!

Ok, I haven't played FF:CC for along time since I got stuck on it for ages and just left it on my shelf to just basicly rot...

This is what I got stuck on, I remember I couldn't get passed this barrier that crossed part of the country, this was a dark or black element... I heard you had to do something in a desert to pass it but couldn't find anything..

Can anyone bring any light to this problem?

I think thats the one where you need the holy element. Its found in the desert with the antlion boss. Not been on it in ages. You have to solve the puzzle with the toppled over tent, use gravity on it or something. And then kill the boss. I believe Gurdy gives to advice along the way for it.
