Temples revisiting question

Ok, so I beat the game, but I'm playing an older file in which I have the airship. I've done sidequests like getting the celestial weapons and stuff. So I thought, why not revisit temples? So I went back to the temples but there's people blocking my way and they won't let me pass. Is there something else I need to do before going to the temples or is it impossible to revisit temples once you've done them? Thanks for the help.

Oh, oh, I remember when this happened to me.

They block the way because the people consider Yuna to be an enemy to the temples. They stop doing this after you beat Sin later in the game.
At least, for me it was, that was the earlies I got to go back to the temples to gain the items and whatnot.

well dark shiva and dark valefor are the only ones that are near temples and they are quite easy

Thats right, some of the temples you can revist due to the dark Aeons but one or two of the temples are blocked off, it's nothing you have done wrong and I don't think you'll be missing anything.

No Dark Aeons in the NTSC Version?! Thats a shame, I throught the dark aeons were a real fun challenge at the end of the game! Gladly I've got the PAL one, still haven't defeated all of them, think i've got the Magnus Sisters left.
