My usual strategy is to nearly finish my ground combo, but before the finishing strike, i use vertical slash, knocking them into the air. With them in the air, I drop a load of ariel combos upon their ass, including horizontal slash and that rather wonderful ariel combo finisher which has a name i can't quite remember. After that, with them a reasonable distance away, I would repeatedly drop thundaga on them, until i no longer have MP, and then (with beserk charge equipped) unleash a neverending maelstrome of keyblade on the poor victim.

If that isn't the best tactic ever, then i would love to find out a better one.

If I'm up against a boss or normal heartless/nobody its the same bash x use cure when needed and hope for the best ^_^ it works well against almost anything the only real problem came from a couple of the Organization XIII guys (mainly Xaldin on the beasts' castle) but then I just used reaction commnds when they came up

I usually use magic from far away, and when I close in, I jump and attack first from the air, but drop to the ground, continue the combo, kick them up in the air, and kill them. It is a little difficult to get the air-ground-air combo to work right, because he pauses when he hits the ground, but with practice, it will take out just about anything in one combo. (except bosses of course)

Other than that, I usually try to use the reaction commands to the fullest...

However long it took you to think that up I have no idea but I worship you for putting that much thought into strageties...
