[T] The Hideout

*snort* Oh the irony.

In a lot of games though, the wimminz are faster. Weaker, but faster. They also tend to be mages. (with large breasts, lately, but that's beside the point.) So, if you like faster characters or mages, you're more inclined towards the women, imo. :lew:

When I get BBS, I'm either going to do it in alphabetical order or recommended order. :hmmm: I think. Yeah. Or alphabetical by the last letter of their first name, just to be weird.

I know, I find it ironic too. :8F:
But true. They DO tend to be the more speedy/magey type, just look at:
Aerith, Garnet, Eiko, Vanille, Yuffie and so on. xD

The men are normally just swinging their big swords around in the hope of killing whatever's in front.

Yes, of late not only has their bust size gotten bigger....so has their roles in the game. They have taken a more central part in the storyline and like Andeh and Jess have said are sometimes the strongest in the game (Fang anyone?). I also enjoy using the ladies, but when I play a FF or any game for that matter I usally tend to play all my characters evenly.

Well if we're honest women barely played a part in games originally, I mean with the really old games that is.

They were usually the damsel in distress or in some need of protection, they've not always been the protagnists. Stuff like Tomb Raider and the like started it off though, which is right really. It doesn't matter what gender you are if you can take down a T-Rex with two pistols you're pretty bloody hardcore. :mokken:

rofl XDDDD "You're pretty bloody hardcore" made me lol.

But yeah, I don't care if the main is male, female, or neither. :lew: I'll play the game regardless, I love the games where you can pick a male OR a female though. Those are always awesome. :ryan:

Speaking of games like that... I've recently started Fighting Force again when I'm bored, I forgot how much I loved it. :ryan:

Fighting force. :8F:
I remember playing that with my brother and completing it on two player in like... primary school. Wow, that was a long time ago. xD

It wasn't the best of games, but it was fun and rather interactive for its time i'd say.

I have an odd unnatural instant bias towards female characters, they're just... better in most games to me for some reason. 8(

I'm with you there, I always have at least one female on my team in any RPG or fighting game D=

As for FF, if you look at it a certain way, it's had at least one Staff Chick per game since FFI.

FFI - White Mage (It's a girl. Srsly)
FFII - Maria
FFIII - Refia
FFIV - Rosa / Rydia / The Girl Twin
FFV - Reina (Although, any of them could be mages. I suppose)
FFVI - Relm (Terra and Celes are more a fusion of Mage + Warrior)
FFVII - Aerith
FFVIII - Rinoa
FFIX - Garnet
FFX - Yuna / Lulu
FFXII - Penelo
FFXIII - Vanille

In each FF Game, I've used the mage in my team too. Apart from FFVI, Celes + Terra > Relm.

Yeah, I can't go without having a female character in my party too. xD
It's like Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, you have a rather mixed team:
Soki (m), Jubei/Akane Yagyu (f), Roberto (m), Ohatsu (f), Tenkai (m).

Out of them all though, I use Jubei the most and probably Ohatsu secondly, but there are specific spots where you HAVE to use x character because they have special abilities which make it impossible to get past certain areas without switching to them.

I'm not sure if I should take note that the majority of those names start with an R or not. :hmmm:

First post here in ages. Wewt.

I'm further than the lot of you, i'm still on a whole other plane to you all :mokken:

It's a certain VS /not spoiling :britt:

And Ventus annoyed me with his poor damage output, in the end I just gave him overpowered spells like Firaga and only had to grind once or thrice...

Damon, I already proved you are a mere gaming mortal when we fought on dissidia, you had to fall back on warrior of cheap to beat me :8F:

cheap doesn't = skill :wacky:

It's a good thing that entire post resounded with modesty, less he feel a bit insulted. :awesome:

STOP FREEZING, RED DEAD REDEMPTION! :rage:

FREEZING? How rude. :rage:

I've yet to play that, then again i've yet to play my PS3 games for a long time yet again as this is like the 4th time it's broke. I don't know why we don't just get a new one. :8F:

I really shouldn't, but I really have to.

I'm not really that surprised you had to make an entirely new race of gamers, and dub it the "Master Race" for PC gamers to be accounted for. :pockets:

I'd call Maria a bow girl, honestly. :monocle: And Rinoa didn't have a staff. I believe Relm had painting skills. Penelo could use anything but came with a dagger. :wacky: /picky

I'm just being picky though, I agree with you :8F: I use all of the mages as well... other than Garnet at times because I like Eiko too, although Eiko's a little white mage girl as well.

I love Garnet and Eiko, but there's no point in having two at once, so I always choose to just have one.
I normally switch Garnet for Eiko during the "Garnet can't concentrate! Command failed phase"

But to be honest, I prefer Eiko because of Holy, I don't like spamming summons too much and that's all (except healing) that Garnet can do. She's still great yet I think she's more defence based than Eiko is.

Plus, Holy rocks.

I never used summons in that game, other than when I level Garnet up to the point she could summon before she lost her summons. :ryan:

I wanna go play FF8, I was cardwhoring for hours last night. ._. but I can't now because my siblings are watching TV, the little bastards.

How rude of them. D=

I've been playing Dissidia, restarted on this memory stick.
Tempted to play VIII or IX, but i'm waiting still. :8F:

I kinda want to play RE Code Veronica: X but fathership has stolen the PS2. :sad3:
