I was Playing Final Fantasy 9 and when i got to Treno with Garnet/Dagger Steifer and Marcus, i went to the Auction House and payed 7700 gil for a pair of Fairy Earrings with LVL up on and did all the stuff with Marcus got supersoft, then in the underground place i went up 13 lvl gettin Garnet to lvl 19 and summoned Shiva (96 mp) and garnet had 99 mp on lvl 19 so she was able to summon Shiva, and i was told she couldnt summon untill later so i was happy :D she takes bout 1100 off so its good when your going up against a boss whos weakness is ICE ay
 
i obviously haven't played 9 in a long time, since i have no idea what you guys are talking about. :(
 
Hmmm I guess with enough effort you could do this with most Eidolons. ^_^
 
well i only got Shiva cause i was just trainin up for my skills and shiva came as a bonus which was cool

i though that garnet wouldnt of summoned her as she was supposed to be scared of the summons untill she gets to ramuh so its an added bonus to work for
 
That would be so neat. Omg it sounds like something worth trying out! ^_^
 
Congrats, I did the same thing. I got the earrings fairly early, so it worked out for me as well.
 
I always try to have my characters leveled up really high before I enter a new area. ^_^
 
it took me about an hour and make sure you have the blood sword for steiner that means he wont die and can restore any character that dies

now am just tryin to get my dagger more powerful as she is my highest lvl character

I always have zidane leveled up the highest, since he's the only one that's permanantly in your party.
 
FFIX was my intoroduction into the FF series so during this game I went in under-leveled into almost every area. I didn't die as much as I thought I would, and the game was great. Summons though I didn't really use much. Just the stat boosting one's or magic ones like Carbunkl with Reflect and Phoenix using Fire and Life.
 
Ohh that's right. GGGGGGg you must have done a LOT of leveling up in that time! O_O
 
I really like that part in the game for some reason.
It IS nice to level your other characters up without zidane around. ^_^
 
Yeah, I was able to summon Shiva & Ifrit before they were extracted. All you really need, is the Fairy Earrings, the Blood Sword for Steiner, and to kill Marcus. FIghting the Mandragoras give you a lot of experience at that point in the game. It's time consuming, but it pays off. Steiner doesn't get the chance to level up like Vivi, Freya, Quina, Dagger (after you rescue her from Alexandria) & Zidane do, batteling the Garudas & Grand Dragons above Gazimaluke's Grotto.
 
i love final fantasy 9 more than all the rest of them but it seems am doing more this time like buy and sellin from the auction house just to get excalibur1 not 2 2 is imposible to get how am i gonna get to memoria in 12 hours come on i train so i kill hades not be killed
 
The auction house has got to be like one of my all time favorite places. =]
