Stuck in the very first level

Ok, well open your map and look for an exclamation mark in a circle. Go towards there. If it's a boss that you're stuck on, then make sure to fight loads of enemies and visit the crystarium to give your characters more stats.

The boss in that area requires you to switch your party so that they are both sentinels whenever you see the word "Swipe" on screen.

It's amusing how I forgot that at the start, with all the grinding I did back on FFXIII.
 
Haha, I never used any strategy for the most part, in 13. Only for the later bosses and summon battles.

I'm stuck in an obstacle in the NE corner where there's a silver item sphere ahead. (obstacle visible on map on NE corner) - Winding Way.

you can collect that treasure chest after you beat the first boss i think, orr after you enter the first gate and access the historia crux reenter new bodum, i think that how u get it

Ah that's right! It's definitely before you exit New Bodhum, 'cause I 100% the distance covered thing there before leaving.
So: you don't need to go down that way. Find another way around :)
