IMO the guide is rubbish

I have been using it on my second playthrough and it's pretty darn flawed. It's telling me missions are available when they clearly aren't. Talk to X person in Chapter 5 or whatever when the stupid person doesn't appear til the next chapter

It completely misses treasre chests off maps and has even missed off bosses or place them in an area you can't evn REACH on the map

The materia fusion fold out thing just doesn't make any sense whatsoever...

So far it has helped my quite a bit in my goal of getting the items that i want *shrugs*

It is useful but it's just wrong with some of its info...I mean, it wouldn't be hard to get these things right.....it made me think I was doing something wrong at times. I have like 4 seperate save files just incase some of these missions were completely missed and it was my fault

True true but i just go with it as best i can and get what items i can. At least for the really important items its right. Cause i am trying to go for the items that raise the max hp etc etc. As for the story line i just need to read it to find certain things.

I didn't really need it for the story line, but you'd think that if they are charging you money for these things they would at least get it right.

Thats true but unless its made by the people who created the game I guess it would be a bit hard to make it 100 percent acurate but i get your point. I did pay for it and it should be accurate. >> i bought mine from walmart and did not notice till later that the damn fold out map was missing.
